New Mom bores Old High School Friend with Baby Pictures

Kent, OH-- Sunday morning at approximately 9 p.m., new mother Becky Carter ran into old high school friend Cassie Stevens at the local Walgreens while shopping for diapers with her baby, Emma. Carter, instead of engaging Stevens in casual adult conversation, opted to whip out her cell phone in order to share a 24 image slide show of the first 6 mos. of her daughter Emma's life. Images included the young, androgynous baby in a series of colorful onsies, and one grainy photo with the daughter wearing a "Mommy's Girl" bib. The exciting photo mosaic concluded with the ever popular, "daddy and baby sleeping together on the couch" pose. Stevens, who later told reporters, "All I wanted was some Fruit Loops," was described by passing shoppers as making disingenuous "awww" noises, peppered with phrases such as, "How adorable," and "she looks just like you!" The whole Walgreen's exchange took a little over ten minutes and ended with Stevens at the register mumbling, "I should have just made eggs."
